"The Alpha Tiny House (By Frontier Small Homes)" - Sustainability off Grid

Nashville, Tennessee-based New Frontier Small Homes created the stunning tiny home known as The Alpha. The contemporary and entirely practical space is brightly illuminated with numerous unusually positioned windows and glass doors.

One of the most stunning models we’ve ever seen, this house measures roughly 190 square feet and is full of interesting features and imaginative storage spaces.

Are you living off grid in your tiny home? You don’t want to make these mistakes!

Exterior of The Alpha House

A magnificent blend of contrasting red western cedar and charred black/grey cedar siding presents modern and rustic elements on the house’s exterior.

One of the most striking aspects of this magnificent mansion is the profusion of windows that line every wall. Smaller windows are crammed from top to bottom into each end wall, and the enormous sliding door and windows are on one side.

The Kitchen in the Alpha Tiny House

The garage door on the opposite side wall is made of tempered glass and can be pulled up to let the outside in.

A drop-down deck and an awning outside the garage door create a lovely outdoor living space.

Inside the Alpha small house, the end walls and ceiling are made from repurposed barn wood. The thick walnut hardwood floor across from the ceiling provides a sophisticated contrast to the barn wood.

The kitchen has a built-in cooktop, a toaster oven, a sink and refrigerator made of stainless steel, and a dishwasher. There is lots of storage space provided by wood shelves, steel shelves, and drop-down kitchen cabinets.

Beautiful granite is used for the kitchen counters, brightening the room and the white walls and cabinets.

A handcrafted oak library ladder that can be tucked away beneath the kitchen stairs when not in use allows access to the loft bedroom.

The house has several other unusual storage spaces and features, such as a foldaway table with benches that slide out from under the stairs.

The bathroom is accessible through a pocket door on one side of the house. The pocket door has a full-length mirror on one side. There is a composting toilet, a jacuzzi tub and shower, and old mirrors over the vanity in the bathroom. Additionally, it houses the washer/dryer combination.
